Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
Canaan fir is the main crop at King’s Pine, valued by the farm for soft, dark needles and fragrance. Balsam and Fraser fir and Meyer spruce are also grown. Meyer spruce is described for its strong branches, useful when comparing how a tree will hold ornaments.
No maximum ready-to-cut height is published. Choose from the trees actually available rather than treating “any size” as a promise of a very tall tree.
A saw is provided for each family, or you may bring your own saw. If you prefer help cutting the selected tree, a member of the family will cut it.

The barn shop and a cocoa stop
The post-and-beam barn is the farm’s indoor shopping stop. Ornaments, candles, tree stands and wreaths share the space with “Kingly Cocoa,” prepared for visitors. Ask about the items you choose; the tree’s flat price is separate from purchases in the shop.
Maple syrup and honey are collected, processed and bottled on the farm. They connect the Christmas visit with the family’s wider growing and food work, and make useful additions to the seasonal shopping stop.
A small family farm at Christmas
King’s Pine is a family operation built around planting and tending Christmas trees. Annual planting, shearing and pruning shape the crop long before the selling weekends.
Icelandic sheep, ducks and chickens are part of the wider farm around the barn. Their presence is part of the setting; ask the family before approaching animals rather than treating the farm as an unrestricted petting attraction.
Plan the Deerfield visit
Leashed dogs are welcome if owners clean up after them. For a particular tree size or other farm question, use Kingspinefarm@gmail.com or the farm number.
