Choose your Christmas tree.
Wood Street grows Douglas and balsam fir for choosing and cutting. The posted standard price is $95 including tax for any size unless the tree has a specific discount tag. Most trees are 6–7 feet, with some taller choices. Discounted trees run $35–$95 according to the individual tag; an unmarked tree is full price.
Borrow a handsaw or bring your own. Cordless reciprocating saws are allowed, but chainsaws are not. Sleds and tree wheelers help move your cut tree to the baler, then an ATV or tractor and wagon carries it toward the parking lot. Wrapping and drilling for a spike-style stand are free.

The farm visit.
Loading and payment
Bring cash or a check; cards and electronic transfers are not accepted. Twine is supplied without charge, though the farm recommends strong rope or bungees of your own. A roof rack or empty pickup makes transport easier; customers are responsible for securing their trees.
Parking space is limited, so the farm recommends one vehicle per party. Wear suitable outdoor footwear. Leashed pets are welcome with cleanup. The phone is often an answering machine during open hours; the practical page suggests evenings before 8pm for unanswered questions.
Field trees and discount precuts
The farm also places its own precut discount trees on racks while supplies last. These are an additional ready-cut option, not a promise that every precut or every field tree receives the lowest price. Read the tag on the actual tree before cutting or taking it to the baler.
| Selection | Price | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Douglas or balsam fir | $95 including tax | Any available size unless specifically discount-tagged |
| Individually discounted trees | $35–$95 | Actual tag controls; own-farm precuts on racks while supplies last |
Family photographs in the fields
Wood Street has height-measuring signs for a yearly family photograph and face cutouts for pictures. Wildlife may pass through the farm, but deer, hawks or rabbits are occasional sightings rather than a scheduled animal encounter. Use the off-street parking and keep to the farm’s tree-shopping arrangements.
