Choose your Christmas tree.
Whitney’s Christmas-tree lot offers precuts rather than customer field harvesting. More recent owner reporting identifies balsam and Fraser fir; the older operator tree page also lists Douglas fir, blue spruce and white pine. Confirm the varieties and sizes now on the lot before travelling for a particular tree.
The operator describes carrying the tree, giving the base a fresh cut, pruning lower branches, wrapping it and tying it onto the vehicle, with Stand Strait drilling also available. Confirm the chosen tree’s price and any service charges; an old starting-price offer is not a current price list.

The farm visit.
The farm market and seasonal greenery
The market, deli and bakery offer food purchases alongside handmade wreaths, kissing balls and seasonal decorations. Pies and fudge are part of the reported holiday offering. The detailed contact schedule lists daily 9am–6pm through December 23, Christmas Eve 9am–2pm, and Christmas Dayclosed for the season; confirm current tree stock and any changes.
Use the Route 8 address at 1775 South State Road in Cheshire. Confirm tall-tree sizes directly before planning around a particular height.
Warm-season family visits
In warmer months, the farm describes a free petting zoo with a miniature pony, goats, sheep and peacock, plus a free play yard with climbing structures, a tractor, monster truck, swings and slides. Picnic tables under a tent and pond-side seating provide places to pause; confirm when these areas are open.
The separately scheduled fall PumpkinFest adds a maze, bounce activities, giant slide, hayrides, face painting, DJ, vendors, food trucks and pumpkin picking on selected weekends. The latest advertised festival has concluded; individual activity charges and weather availability need checking for a renewed season. Free ordinary play-yard access does not make every festival activity free.
