Choose your Christmas tree.
Ward’s outdoor market changes into a holiday shopping area with Christmas trees, fresh wreaths, seasonal arrangements and other greens. The farm’s Christmas department does not list a particular tree size or species, so check the current selection when one is essential.
The farm store adds groceries, prepared food and bakery items, with a separate sandwich and smoothie counter. It is a useful combination for a tree-shopping stop; the food and gifts are separate purchases, and fall attractions do not establish a Christmas ride or activity program.
The farm visit.
Store hours and farm rules
General store hours are 9am–7pm daily, with the sandwich counter 9am–6pm. Confirm Christmas-tree selling dates and holiday changes separately. Pets are not allowed on farm property. Outside food and drinks are prohibited except at private events booked through Ward’s.
A meal, smoothie or bakery stop
The counter’s published menu includes chicken wraps at $12.50, a steak sandwich at $14.50, chicken Parmesan or meatball sandwiches at $15.50, a vegetarian wrap at $11.50 and eggplant at $14.50. Children’s choices include a $5.50 peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich or hot dog, and $6.50 grilled cheese, ham or turkey. Breakfast offers a $4 bagel, $6 egg and cheese, or $7 bacon-and-egg or ham-and-egg sandwich.
Smoothies are $7.50 without soft serve or $8.50 with dairy soft serve; shakes are $7.50. The menu states that breads and wraps contain wheat, seeded rolls contain sesame, sides use a shared fryer and the kitchen uses shellfish. Ask the counter about an allergy rather than treating an item label as a promise against cross-contact. The farm store also has homemade scones, cookies and muffins, prepared meals, breads and other local groceries.
Separate picking and family visits
Seasonal pick-your-own hours are 9am–6pm when a crop is open. Check in at the far white tent near the playground, purchase the required containers and pay for everything picked; cash, credit and checks are accepted for picking. Weather and crop conditions can close fields. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for uneven or muddy ground.
The established family program also includes a playground and animals, with hayride tickets sold when rides are available. Check the current seasonal access before a winter visit; fruit picking and hayrides are not Christmas-tree cutting or an included winter attraction.
Photography and private events
Paid photography sessions require a farm photo pass. Personal photographs do not require a pass, even when using professional equipment. Consult the farm’s photography rules before organising a paid session.
Birthday parties, showers, school visits and corporate events are separately booked, with picking activities dependent on the crop season. Use events@wardsberryfarm.com or the event-specific 781-867-4002 contact for those arrangements. Package prices were not established from the public booking widgets, so request the current package; the event contact is separate from the main farm-store phone.
Separate Thanksgiving food preorders
The posted Thanksgiving program offers Stonewood Farm turkeys, pies, breads and rolls for pickup Tuesday November 24 or Wednesday November 25. A turkey payment reserves the bird with a nonrefundable deposit; it is credited against the final weight-based price, with the balance due at pickup. These are holiday-food arrangements, separate from Christmas-tree shopping; confirm the announced program and availability before ordering.
Whole-turkey choices run 10–12, 12–16, 16–20, 20–24, 24–28, 28–32, 32–36 and 36-plus pounds. Boneless breasts are offered in 2–4, 4–6 and 6–8-pound ranges, previously frozen and thawed ready to cook. Orders must be collected on the chosen day. A Tuesday order can be held until Wednesday only if the farm is notified by Tuesday at 6pm; Wednesday collection must be by 6pm. Missed orders under these terms are not refunded.

Separately ordered tray catering
Ward’s offers pickup catering for family gatherings and larger groups: prepared entrées, salads, deli and sandwich platters, fruit, cheese and homemade bakery items. The linked menu retains an earlier source year, so the examples below describe that published program rather than a renewed quote. Ask the farm store on 781-784-3600 about the current menu. Catering for a private event at the farm goes through the separate Events Department, 781-867-4002 or events@wardsberryfarm.com.
The published order terms make payment due at pickup, with cancellation at least 24 hours before the pickup time. The card is charged for a missed pickup or late cancellation. Bakery choices depend on the season; individual muffins, cookies and sweet or savory scones have a minimum order of four of each flavor. Current Thanksgiving pie prices are separately published and can differ from the older catering-menu examples.
