Choose your Christmas tree.

Volante’s established Christmas offering includes ready-cut balsam and Fraser firs, with a crew to give the trunk a fresh cut, wrap the tree and tie it onto the vehicle. It is a retail tree-yard visit rather than a customer-cutting field.

Seasonal plants, fresh greens and trim-a-tree decorations accompany the trees. The farm market, café and deli offer other shopping and food options during their ordinary opening, with separate purchases and department arrangements.

Tree and greenery returns

Cut and live Christmas trees, fresh greens and wreaths may be returned or exchanged within 14 days only when you bring the item and its original receipt. There are no returns, refunds or credits after December 24. Custom or special orders are nonrefundable, and clearance sales are final.

Check the holiday opening

The ordinary farmstand and greenhouse hours are Monday–Friday 8am–7pm and Saturday–Sunday 8am–6pm. The earlier detailed Christmas program opened the trim shop November 16, 9am–5pm, then sold trees November 29–December 23, 8am–7pm, with Christmas Eve 8am–4pm and December 25–26 closed. Those are previous holiday arrangements, not a new season announcement; confirm the current arrivals and holiday hours.

Breakfast, deli and food shopping

The market combines seasonal produce, bakery goods, prepared meats, cheese and groceries with a deli and café. Breakfast is served until noon and kitchen dishes and salads until 3pm; sandwiches continue to 7pm on weekdays or 6pm at weekends. Use extension 1 of the farm’s main phone for food orders.

Published sandwich choices include $9.50 grilled cheese, $10.50 caprese and other farm sandwiches around $12–$14. Salads are $12–$12.50, with a build-your-own option at $12, while seasonal hot dishes are around $14–$16. Gluten-free bread adds $1 and may contain sesame; tell the server about allergies and check changing ingredients rather than assuming an item is allergen free.

Ice cream, cocoa and holiday food

Ice-cream sizes are posted at $5.50 for a child’s portion, then $6, $7 and $8 for small, medium and large. Sundaes are $8 or $10.50, toppings $1.50 and sprinkles free. Hot cocoa is $3 for 12 ounces, $3.50 for 16 ounces or $4 for 20 ounces, alongside coffee, espresso, teas and changing seasonal flavours.

An earlier holiday-meal preorder program collected orders December 23–24 inside by the freezers, with a deposit adjusted for the actual item size at pickup. That program’s cancellation deadline has passed; use the new holiday menu and ordering terms before placing an order. Holiday meals, counter food and drinks are separate from a tree purchase.

Thanksgiving preorder deadline

The current Thanksgiving announcement closes orders Monday November 16 at 5pm. A full refund requires cancellation before 5pm that same day; no refund is offered after the cutoff. To change, cancel or add to an order, contact info@volantefarms.com or reply to the order confirmation rather than placing a duplicate order. Turkey and gravy, side dishes and desserts use the holiday preorder menu; confirm its pickup arrangements and remaining choices. This is separate from the older Christmas-meal program and from tree sales.

Separate catering orders and pickup terms

Volante’s pickup catering covers breakfast, platters, salads, entrées, soup, sides, bakery goods and drinks. Small appetizer, sandwich and salad platters generally serve 10–12 and large ones 18–20 unless the menu says otherwise. The selected examples below are published menu prices, with 7% Massachusetts meals tax added and market-price changes possible; confirm the final quote, portions, allergies and seasonal choices.

All orders must be placed at least 48 hours before pickup and are confirmed only after a staff response. Full payment is required at confirmation. To receive a refund, cancel by 9am on the day before pickup. Catering staff are available daily 8am–4pm at catering@volantefarms.com or 781-444-2351 extension 601. Those are food-order conditions, separate from the farm’s counter extension and any tree-shopping arrangements.
