Choose your Christmas tree.
This Pembroke farm grows Fraser fir in fields around the family’s white house and also sells fresh precuts near the entrance under lights. Pick up a measuring stick on arrival. When you find a tree, raise its red end or ask a member of staff in red to measure and price it before cutting.
Once you agree the price, the tree is tagged and you can cut it or have staff cut it. It is brought to the entrance for shaking, a fresh straight trunk cut and netting. A three-part numbered ticket keeps the tree matched to your purchase: take the two customer parts to the shed, pay in cash and keep the marked paid ticket for collection.

The farm visit.
Getting the tree onto your car
Twine is supplied, but staff are not permitted to tie trees onto vehicles. Be ready to secure the tree yourself. Netting draws in the branches to make the tree easier to carry through a doorway; leave it on until you have placed the tree in the stand.
Measure the space at home before choosing. Keep the trunk intact rather than shaving its sides to fit a stand, and use a stand with enough water capacity for the tree.
Wreaths and a visit with the animals
Farm-grown Fraser greens become handmade wreaths, swags, decorating bundles and cemetery boxes. Wreaths include round, heart, cross, candy-cane and tree shapes; handmade decorations and gifts change with the season. These items are separate purchases.
The farm invites visitors to see its miniature horses and goat. Do not feed the animals, and supervise children around them. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash; clean up after them, with bags available at the pay shed.
Footing and seasonal hours
Paths, roads and fields are uneven, with stumps and young trees to watch for. The farm normally begins on the day after Thanksgiving, but check its current update before setting off: field cutting can finish before the precut lot. The last detailed precut pattern was Monday–Thursday noon–7pm, Friday–Saturday 8am–7pm and Sunday 8am–4pm after the fields had closed for that season.
