Choose your Christmas tree.
Taylor-Bray’s Christmas-tree sales are part of its annual holiday festival, usually a weekend in early December. The barn has handmade wreaths, swags, centerpieces, crafts and homemade baking; outside, visitors can choose a tree and look out for a weather-dependent tractor hayride.
Check the event announcement for the actual dates and times before planning a tree purchase. The farm’s normal dawn-to-dusk opening and free admission do not mean that trees are sold every day, or that a tree or ride is included.
The farm visit.
Animals, boardwalk and a picnic
The farmyard has goats, sheep, cows, donkeys and other animals, with a boardwalk toward Black Flats Marsh and the unpaved Don McIntyre woodland trail. Never feed the animals. Gentle touching is sometimes possible when an animal approaches the fence; supervise children and let the animal choose the interaction.
Picnic tables are near the barn. You may bring food and drinks, take all rubbish home and leave alcohol behind. Farmhouse entry is limited to selected festivals and announced open houses.
Parking, surfaces and dogs
There is free parking at the entrance and a restroom in the historic barn. Expect grass, natural surfaces and gentle hills rather than paved paths throughout; ask about specific mobility needs in advance. Dogs are welcome on a leash, including on the trail and boardwalk.
