Visit times.
General market daily 8am–6pm; confirm tree-selling season
Choose your Christmas tree.
Taft Farms’ holiday offering includes whole Christmas trees, garland, handmade wreaths and kissing balls. Confirm the available tree type, height and price before travelling; the greenery event page does not distinguish customer cutting, staff harvest or precut stock.
Visitors can warm up in the greenhouse and buy hot cider, with the market, deli, bakery and prepared foods offering other ways to combine the tree errand with holiday shopping. Holiday pies are ordered separately rather than included with a tree.
The farm visit.
Market hours and the seasonal event
General farm hours are daily 8am–6pm. The holiday-event page’s November–January wrapper is not a promise of tree stock through January; check the actual tree-selling dates and availability. Fall corn-maze activities are a separate season.
Taft’s rescue animals are for observation: the farm explicitly prohibits feeding or petting them because they are not trained for interaction. Keep fingers out of cages. You may see donkeys, a pony, rabbits, roosters and greenhouse turtles among the animals;confirm current visitor access. Use 119 Park Street for the market.
Food from the bakery and deli
The bakery offers cider donuts, pies, breads and cookies, with holiday pie ordering as a separate purchase. Deli choices include breakfast, vegetarian and meat sandwiches, soups, entrées and sides, with some packaged special-diet choices. Check the day’s menu when combining a food stop with tree and greenery shopping.
A separate autumn walk and maze
The previously published autumn program includes a free family corn maze and a walk-in marked farm trail about a quarter mile from the store to a picnic area. Tables and camp grills are provided, with visitors bringing their own charcoal, and the outlook takes in the Housatonic River Valley.
Confirm the renewed seasonal opening and access before planning the walk or maze. The old event calendar’s automatic evening timestamps are not the market’s shop hours or a promise of winter trail access.
