Choose your Christmas tree.
Pine Ridge brings in fresh-cut balsam and Fraser fir from Maine, harvested during Thanksgiving week. The Christmas selection includes a variety of heights, widths and shapes, so compare individual trees for your room rather than expecting one uniform size. This is a retail selection rather than customer cutting in the fields.
Wreath-making is part of the farm’s Christmas offering, with fresh greens, holly and berries gathered for custom designs. Plain or decorated wreaths, cemetery baskets and other arrangements can be ordered, and ribbons or bows can be changed to suit the finished piece.

Decorate a Christmas wreath
The current wreath program is $80 per person, with a fresh balsam wreath and all decorating materials included: ribbons, bows, ornaments, cones, berries and other accents. Each listed session starts at 6:30pm. Reserve in advance through the operator’s linked public registration form, then submit the required payment.
The form directs payment by Venmo to @georgianna-stowe after registration; call Gigi at 508-864-8829 to arrange another method. Gigi will contact you if the selected workshop is full. Give at least 24 hours’ notice if unable to attend; the published request does not promise an automatic refund.
| Month | Dates | Start |
|---|---|---|
| November | 24, 27 and 28 | 6:30pm |
| December | 1–6 and 8–13 | 6:30pm |
Take-home kits and a private group
DIY TO-GO kits cost $80 each, $160 for two or $240 for three. Each provides a fresh balsam wreath and decorating supplies for use at home. Kits do not include a place in an in-person workshop; choose the workshop or kit option on the registration form.
The specific Christmas wreath-party program accepts private groups of 15–24 guests. Call Gigi for availability and details. Other private plant-and-craft parties have a separate general minimum of 10 participants, with materials, demonstration and assistance, variable fees and permission to bring your own food and drinks; those conditions do not change the Christmas wreath group size.
Coffee, lunch choices and gifts
The farm café offers tea, coffee and sweet treats, with salads to go and weekly soup and quiche specials. Farm eggs, seasonal vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, local honey and maple syrup are among the shop’s food choices; check the day’s availability when planning a lunch stop.
The gift shop adds the farm’s own alpaca products, handmade goods, candles, jewelry, incense, jams and other seasonal pieces. Custom containers and window boxes can be arranged for a particular occasion.
Other seasonal craft programs
The broader garden-workshop programme includes a $45 succulent dish with decorative stones, shells and beads; a $50 fairy garden for children or adults, using plants, miniatures and natural materials; and a $60 seasonal broom with a chosen handle and locally harvested branches, flowers and grasses. The $65 mosaic project takes two parts: assemble and glue a glass-and-tile terracotta-saucer design, then grout and seal it the following week and make its rope hanger. The $65 hypertufa class also spans two weeks, making a concrete-and-peat planter first and adding succulents the next week. These are separate seasonal projects, not additions included in the Christmas wreath ticket.
The farm operates April–December with seasonal hours and appointments by telephone or email. Use 1158 Main Street, Boylston; contact 508-864-8829 or gigiprfma@gmail.com for the particular visit, class or private event.
Private plant-and-craft parties generally require at least 10 participants and include materials, instruction, demonstrations and assistance. You may bring your own food and drinks. The three spring Potting Party Room formats below specify 10–16 guests; this is not a universal maximum for every programme. Request a date and confirm the project, capacity and current fee with Gigi before arranging a group.
The children’s pumpkin party lists no numeric age band or accompanying-adult rule. Ask about age suitability and supervision when booking; its $30 fee is per person. The dog-treat workshop makes treats for pets and does not establish permission to bring a dog.

Other ways to visit the farm
The farm’s broader visitor offering includes garden seating, a patio and firepit, plus a petting zoo described in its farm history. Ask which animal areas and seating are open on the day you plan to shop for a tree; these features have no separate published Christmas timetable or admission terms.
Tea parties are a separate booked experience, with seasonal teas, homemade sweets and savory food. Private tea parties require at least 12 people. Ask Gigi about the available date, menu and full charge for a new gathering.
