Choose your Christmas tree.

Miller’s offers precut trees alongside a restricted field-tree program. Field tagging is for customers already on the farm’s email list; drought losses mean new taggers cannot currently be added. Check the latest opening and stock update rather than arriving expecting unrestricted field cutting. The farm grows balsam and Canaan fir, Norway spruce and a small number of blue spruce.

Average field trees through 7 feet are posted at $78 plus tax, with most over 7 feet and under 9 feet at $98 plus tax. Taller trees are priced before cutting. Precuts are priced by height and grade. The dedicated price page and FAQ give the $98 tier; have the individual tree’s price confirmed before cutting.

The farm visit.

From tagging to taking it home

See farm staff before choosing or cutting. An eligible tagged tree must be paid for before you cut it. Complete the multipart tag with your name and keep its stub; the farm does not accept responsibility for lost tags or missing trees. Bow saws can be borrowed, while chainsaws and axes are prohibited. A battery sawzall is allowed. Bring helpers and a tarp for carrying or dragging the tree to the baling area, and expect fields to close at dusk. Bad weather can change opening or collection arrangements.

Baling, stand drilling and twine are free; shaking is free when available. Email in advance about drilling, including a tree purchased elsewhere. Staff may help tie a tree when time permits, but the farm recommends your own rope for a highway or long-distance journey. Local delivery is available for a distance-based fee quoted from your address.

Farm-made wreaths and greenery

Order early for custom wreaths, swags and specialty shapes; frame and greenery availability can limit what is made. Standard door wreaths finish around 22–24 inches, and larger sizes run to 60 inches. Bows and greenery choices affect the price. Pine roping is special order only when farm-grown pine is available.

Posted greenery examples
SelectionPrice and conditions
Small swag$5.50; red bow adds $2.75; Massachusetts tax extra
Large swag$12.50; red bow adds $3.75; Massachusetts tax extra
Candy-cane / tree-shaped wreath$38 / $55; bows extra; made to order and subject to frame availability

Make a wreath in the greenhouse

Arrange a private wreath class for 4–12 people by email. The posted $29 per wreath covers materials and instruction for a 10–12-inch frame, finishing around 22–24 inches. Bows, pine cones and berries cost extra; you may bring personal decorations. Allow the advertised 1–2 hours, with everyone working at their own pace.

Food and your own wine or beer are allowed at the class; the farm does not serve alcohol. A requested campfire may be arranged for an additional charge if weather permits. Public classes and professional photo sessions have their own announced dates and booking arrangements.

Paths, pets and contacting the farm

GPS and Allen Avenue street numbering can be misleading. Find the farm entrance directly opposite Draper Avenue at its junction with Allen Avenue: look for the farm sign and mailbox marked 500, with the driveway running alongside Interstate 295. Visit only during the stated business hours; the private property is not open for general roaming.

Park in the lot; driving through the farm is prohibited. Field rows have rocks, roots, stumps and other working-farm hazards, and strollers should stay out of them. Wear firm shoes or boots with good tread. Wheelchair access to the fields can be difficult; email ahead to discuss assistance.

Friendly dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after. They are generally kept out of the Christmas-tree fields except while tagging, so check at the barn before entering. Smoking is limited to the parking area. Email rmillercompany@gmail.com is the preferred contact because staff may be working with gloves and unable to answer a call.

Cash and checks with proper identification are accepted. Credit cards carry a small fee; ask the farm for the current amount before paying. Photography is limited to sessions with a professional photographer who has reserved time at the farm.

Previous sellout and planned stock

A previous season sold out after four selling days. The farm then announced plans to double its precut supply for the following season; that plan does not establish current stock or an open selling day. Check the latest opening and stock notice before setting out.
