Choose your Christmas tree.
Marshall’s winter farmstand selection includes Christmas trees, wreaths, roping, kissing balls, boxwood trees, bows and planters. This is a farmstand retail stop; contact the stand for the available tree sizes and varieties before planning a particular selection.
The stand is open seven days a week 10am–6pm from April through December. Its own honey, eggs, poultry and produce sit alongside locally sourced milk, ice cream, bread, pies, preserves and meat, making it useful for holiday food shopping as well as greenery.
The farm visit.
Farmstand visit and other services
The farm invites families to meet its goats and chickens and see the mobile chicken tractors. Check conditions at the stand when adding animal viewing to a winter trip. Firewood pickup and delivery are separately arranged, with a dedicated firewood number; the farmstand number is the right starting point for tree-shopping questions.
Firewood pickup and delivery
The farm separately sells seasoned and semi-seasoned hardwood at $450 per cord, $325 per half cord and $275 per quarter cord. The published delivery area names Concord, Acton and Maynard, with a $25-per-town charge beyond that area; obtain the actual destination quote before arranging an order.
Kiln-dried firewood is pickup only at the farm. Published examples include a one-sixth-cord rack at $175, a quarter-cord white bag at $300 and a half-cord metal bin at $425. Smaller pickup choices are a cube full at $30, bundles at $9 and kindling at $30. Use the dedicated firewood number, 978-399-8650, for the chosen product and collection arrangement; these prices do not include a Christmas tree.
The hardwood mix is oak, maple and birch, cut about 16–18 inches long. Semi-seasoned wood needs another four to five months of drying according to the farm, so select the product around when you expect to use it. Confirm the delivery destination and timing for the particular order.
