Choose your Christmas tree.
Mahoney’s names Winchester among its fresh-cut Christmas-tree stores. The shared seasonal selection covers balsam and Fraser fir, Canaan and Cook’s fir, white pine and Colorado blue spruce, with several heights and grades. Individual branch stock varies; ask about your preferred variety before travelling.
The balsam range includes miniature 2–5-foot trees and taller specimens reaching 12 feet or more. A separate posted signature offer is a 5–7-foot balsam for $45 while supplies last. Fraser has firmer branches than balsam for heavier ornaments, while white pine offers a softer, long-needled look. Staff help select a tree, then shake, net, load and secure it for the trip home.

Prices, greens and arrivals
The $45 example applies to the specified 5–7-foot balsam, not every species or grade. Other trees need a quote for the actual selection. Fresh-cut arrivals begin shortly before Thanksgiving with replenishment during the season; check this branch’s current stock and holiday hours.
Fresh wreaths, garlands, greenery and centrepieces are sold alongside the trees, with pickup or delivery options for selected greenery. You can make an optional Trees for Troops donation at checkout. These extras and donations are separate purchases, and the generic planted-tree warranty is not a cut-tree survival guarantee.

Visiting the Winchester branch
The original Winchester store is on Route 3 A, with parking and accessible restrooms. Leashed dogs are welcome. The on-site Farmstand adds produce, meat, cheese, juice and coffee to the shopping trip; food purchases and general nursery delivery are separate from the tree price.
The posted general hours are mon–fri 9am–6pm; sat 8am–6pm; sun 9am–6pm. Seasonal changes can affect the tree-shopping day. Use the Winchester branch contact for stock or facilities questions rather than another store’s number.
Tree preparation and delivery planning
The operator’s published preparation service includes a fresh base cut and complimentary shaking, wrapping and tying to the vehicle. Staff can also help select, load and secure the tree. Confirm any unusual tree or vehicle arrangement with this branch before travelling.
Selected greens can be ordered for pickup or local delivery, with the actual fee determined by destination and order. The general local-delivery policy describes 1–3 days, 10am–5pm, changes or cancellation at least 24 hours beforehand and a fee for a missed delivery requiring another attempt. Arrange the actual Christmas-tree service rather than assume every online greenery item or nursery delivery option applies. Same-day service is a florist offer, and the Garden Drop shipping program excludes fresh Christmas trees.
General holiday-item returns require a receipt and saleable packaging within the stated return window. The previously published December 8 holiday deadline has expired, so ask for the new seasonal rule before purchase. A planted landscape tree’s guarantee and artificial-tree/light warranties do not establish a fresh-cut-tree replacement guarantee.
Booked holiday plant workshops
The one-hour cyclamen workshop makes a living centerpiece in a 20-inch wooden planter with cyclamen, ferns, ivy, seasonal accents and instruction. The separate herb workshop uses five plants, with examples including oregano, rosemary, thyme, sage and African blue basil; accents may vary and the planter needs a sunny window.
These are separately ticketed activities. Published offers are $92.66 for cyclamen and $47.30 for herbs, with refunds accepted up to three days before the event. Confirm the checkout total and actual remaining places; another branch’s workshop date does not apply here.

Farmstand and autumn maze
The Farmstand department is at 248 Cambridge Street, with produce, meat, cheese, fresh orange juice, hot coffee and cold brew; its 339-221-0146 number serves food-shopping questions. Use the main retail branch number for tree stock. Food, ice cream and cider donuts are separate purchases.
The free Haunted Maze is a separate announced fall program running September 24–October 30, not a Christmas-tree attraction. Check the actual day’s hours; a special late-hours weekend has expired and is not a standing schedule.
Separate kiln-dried firewood
Mahoney’s separately sells kiln-dried Massachusetts hardwood at its stores. The firewood page describes hand-stacked carts in two sizes, labelled 6 and 12 square feet; confirm the cart quantity, price and this branch’s stock before arranging an order.
Winchester is one of the named bulk-firewood-delivery branches, alongside Tewksbury, Chelmsford, Falmouth. Ask the branch for the actual quantity, destination, fee and delivery arrangement; this separate firewood programme does not establish a Christmas-tree delivery package.
