Entrance, payment and dogs
Enter at 901 Washington Street and follow the signs for parking and the exit. Credit cards, Venmo, Apple Pay, cash and checks are accepted, with Massachusetts sales tax added to posted prices. Dogs must stay in the car.
The most recently posted daily selling pattern was 9am–5pm until sold out. Confirm the new season’s opening and availability before using that pattern to plan a trip.
Balsam or Fraser?
For Hunnewell’s two fir choices, balsam is the more fragrant option, while Fraser tends to keep its needles longer. Compare the individual tree’s width as well as its height, especially when choosing one of the tall trees kept in the barn. Stands and wreaths are also sold separately.
