Choose your Christmas tree.
Hopestill grows certified-organic white and blue spruce for choose-and-cut visits. Its last detailed tree offer describes mostly white spruce, some blue spruce, trees around 5–7 feet and a few larger choices. The published price was $80, with a $20 deposit for advance tagging, paid by cash, check or Venmo; cards were not accepted. These are previously published planning terms, so confirm the next crop, price and tagging arrangements before travelling.
The farm uses early-November tagging, with the option to cut when selecting or return during an announced cutting weekend or appointment. A later notice sold out that published season. Do not assume a field is open because produce pickup is available; arrange the specific tree visit through the farm.

Arranging a tree visit
Use 117 Mill Street in Sherborn. The farm publishes a direct phone and farm email for questions and has offered an email list for future tagging notices. Produce orders and CSA pickup have separate arrangements; confirm the tree visit itself before setting out.
Tools, parking and the published visit pattern
Handsaws and twine are supplied, and you may bring a handsaw. Axes and chainsaws are prohibited. Dogs are not allowed in the fields, even on a leash. Park on the gravel at the top of the drive or on the farm side of the street, following the farm’s instructions.
The last detailed calendar offered early-November weekend tagging at noon–4pm, appointments between tagging and Thanksgiving, closed Thanksgiving, then announced noon–4pm cutting weekends with weekday appointments and later visits by appointment. Those specific dated days have expired and the season later sold out; use that pattern only to plan what to ask about, not as a new opening calendar. Request the October notification list at farm@hopestill.com for future tagging information.
Previously published appointment calendar
The last detailed calendar below later sold out and has expired. It shows how tagging, cutting weekends and appointments were arranged; obtain the next announcement before choosing a day. A tree could be cut on selection day or collected on an announced open weekend or appointment.
