Choose your Christmas tree.
Hancock is a choose-and-cut white-spruce farm, with around four acres of trees and a published size range of 5–8 feet. There are no precut trees or advance tags: select a tree, cut it during your visit and take it home. The posted price is $50 per tree, payable by cash or check.
A hand saw and dolly are supplied for the trip down the hill to the trees. The farm does not offer netting, so bring rope or bungee cords to secure the tree for transport. Plan for that hillside route when deciding who will cut and move it; no accessible field route is promised.

The advertised season begins the weekend after Thanksgiving and ends the weekend before Christmas. Saturday and Sunday hours are 9am–4pm; Monday and Friday visits are by telephone appointment. Check the farm’s latest availability before travelling if a particular height is important.
