Choose your Christmas tree.

Evergreen’s very limited announced crop includes naturally shaped Fraser and concolor firs around 6–15 feet. Certified-organic choose-and-cut trees are $105 including tax unless individually discount-tagged. A limited precut selection is also described; confirm the actual remaining trees before travelling.

The published cutting plan is November 27 or November 28, 9am–3pm, only if enough trees remain. These are conditional alternatives, not a promise of two open days. Early-November pretagging information goes to the farm newsletter; check that announcement before making a field visit.

Saws, sleds, measuring sticks, shaking, baling and twine are provided. The farm does not drill trunks. Customers secure their own trees to the vehicle, and the farm recommends bringing suitable tie-downs. Stands and lights are sold.

Arriving and shopping

The Ash Street approach is unpaved. If navigation marks Ash Street as closed, approach from Middle Street and follow parking signs at 114 Ash Street. Wear footwear suited to a working farm. The self-serve store in the barn has eggs, meat, herbs, flowers, produce, local frozen baked goods, popsicles, household refills and gifts. Weekday 10am–5pm store access does not establish an open tree field.

Wreath-making in the barn

Four announced workshops run November 18–21, 5–7pm each. A 12-inch wire frame, greenery, berries, cones, dried flowers, wire, clippers, tools and instruction are included, along with light snacks and warm tea; guests may bring their own beverage. Expect standing work in an unheated barn and wear sturdy shoes. Check the live booking page for the actual fee and remaining spaces.

Tickets are nonrefundable if the workshop runs. You may transfer your place to a friend for the same session. A weather cancellation is emailed at least 12 hours ahead and fully refunded; the farm also cancels and refunds if fewer than ten participants sign up. Email for the waitlist. The public holiday market on November 28, 10am–3pm, separately brings local makers, food, gifts and activities to the farm.

Private wreath-making workshops can also be discussed for a family, group of friends or workplace. The farm separately rents its barn to local businesses for workshops. Contact the farm for the date, group size, fee and included materials; the public workshop ticket and ordinary tree purchase do not book a private event.

Seasonal shares and member access

The flower-and-herb picking share is a separate $300 growing-season program from mid-June to mid-October, with a weekly 15-stem bouquet and quart of herbs. Tools and harvest signs guide what can be picked, perennial harvests are limited, and access is described on five days a week or by appointment. One guest may accompany a member once without charge; additional guest visits cost extra.

The published $750 meat share combines chicken pickups in June, July, September and October with a November 30-pound pork share and herb/garlic offerings. Optional egg shares are $100 for two dozen per month or $200 for four dozen; the pages differ on the number of months, so settle the pickup schedule before payment. Checks are preferred and payment plans can be discussed. The current program is full, with a next-season waitlist; an older join form is not proof that spaces remain.

Members may walk the farm and meet animals during pickups, receive first access to the limited tree crop and a 10% flower/herb-share discount. These member arrangements do not establish a public petting attraction or tree availability for every member.

Private photographs and small weddings

Professional photography must be arranged beforehand, including fees and requirements. The farm also offers individually planned micro weddings for up to 75 people, with barn, field and parking access until 10pm and a possible weekend option. Contact the farm about the date and working-farm conditions; no standard wedding price is published.
