Tree season: Weekends from Thanksgiving to Christmas
Choose your Christmas tree.
Dawson’s Liberty Acres offers both field cutting and precut trees. Its association listing names Fraser and balsam fir and blue spruce, with large trees in a 10–20-foot range. That range is a reason to check the available crop and transport arrangements before a tall-tree trip, rather than assume every size is in stock.
Wreaths in several sizes and kissing balls are sold alongside the trees. The recurring published season is weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The farm visit.
Approaching Liberty Street
From Haverhill, follow Route 97 toward Salem and turn onto Liberty Street. From Salem, the association describes Hampstead Street and then Liberty Street. Confirm the day’s hours and your desired tree size with the farm before heading out.
Earlier crop choices and the selling window
The state agriculture profile also describes concolor fir and white spruce, with a previously advertised 8–16-foot tall-tree selection. The grower listing’s 10–20-foot range covers a different published selection. Confirm the species and actual tree height before arranging transport; neither range guarantees a particular tree remains.
An earlier state profile described two short selling weekends, 9am–3pm, while the grower listing gives the broader recurring Thanksgiving-to-Christmas weekend season. Obtain the actual selling day and hours before travelling rather than rely on the earlier short calendar.
