Season dates.
Tree season: Early December, with exact start announced by the farm
Choose your Christmas tree.
Boyden Brothers sells its own freshly cut Christmas trees at the sugarhouse in early December. Trees are self-service and priced individually as marked; check the operator’s Boyden Bros Maple updates for the actual start date and available stock.
The holiday shop also offers syrup, maple cream, candy and granulated sugar, with assorted boxed gifts available for pickup or shipping. December-weekend retail and arranged pickup are distinct from the spring sap-boiling and tasting season.
The farm visit.
Confirm the sugarhouse destination
The current farm profile gives two South Deerfield Road numbers: 716 in its header and 642 in the farmstand block. Confirm the exact tree-selling entrance with the Boydens before travelling; this guide does not treat those as two separate tree lots.
The holiday-specific contact is 413-369-4665, with 413-475-0566 also published for the farm. Tree payment should be checked before using the self-service area; a general shop credit-card listing does not establish the tree honor-box arrangements.
A separate spring sugarhouse visit
The previously published maple-season program opens on March weekends from at least 10am–3pm, and sometimes by chance. Visitors may watch the sap boiling and taste newly made syrup when available. Boiling depends on the season and conditions, so arrange a spring visit separately from Christmas-tree shopping.
For holiday maple gift packs, the sugarhouse opens on December weekends before Christmas or by appointment. The Boydens ship within the United States and can send gifts to several supplied addresses; arrange the product selection, pickup or shipping directly. These are separate purchases from the self-service, individually marked trees.
