Choose your Christmas tree.

Bell Brook’s you-cut trees require a reservation, with one tree per booking at $85 plus tax, paid onsite when you choose. Most trees are around 5–10 feet, with a few taller examples, and many are lightly pruned for a more natural shape. Saws are supplied; chainsaws are prohibited.

Precuts combine the farm’s own trees with balsam from northern Maine and Canada. Typical precut sizes are 6–10 feet at $60–$100. Staff give the tree a fresh cut and secure it to the car, with twine included. The published reservation release is November 1; confirm the renewed release and available slot before planning a you-cut visit.

The farm visit.

Greens, gifts and preorders

The holiday stand sells hand-tied balsam wreaths, swags, white-pine roping, fresh-green and berry bundles and winter arrangements in vintage maple sap buckets. The planters include mixed winter greens, woody accents, large reusable pinecones and a bow, with a weighted base. Preordering a wreath, planter or garland is recommended so it is ready when you collect the tree.

Amaryllis and paperwhite bulbs, candles, seasonal decor, locally made ornaments and treats fill out the stand.

Use the tree-farm address

The Christmas stand and tree farm are at 85 West Brookfield Road in North Brookfield; follow the signs for parking. The home, mailing address and flower studio at 17 Old North Brookfield Road in West Brookfield are a separate destination.

The posted tree calendar opens November 28, then Thursday 2–5pm and Friday–Sunday 10am–5pm until sold out. Its Friday/November 28 pairing belongs to a previous calendar. Confirm the renewed opening and booking release before travelling. The tree page names November 1 for reservations, one you-cut tree per reservation and payment onsite.

The farmstand page now separately announces a November 27 holiday reopening. Its summer self-service hours and exact-cash, check and Venmo arrangements are labelled for the summer stand and should not be assumed to govern Christmas tree sales. Confirm which tree-selling calendar and reservation slots apply before travelling.

Wreath making in the flower studio

The posted Bell Brook workshop is $70, with November 28 and 29 sessions from 10:30am to noon. It is in the West Brookfield flower studio, with coffee and sweets, wreath-design guidance and all tools, base, greenery and accents supplied. Bring a bow if you want one; personal embellishments or your own foraged greens and branches are optional.

The workshop date labels and the tree-opening notice use different calendar patterns, so confirm the actual class year, date and studio destination before booking. Workshops advertised at Oakholm, Salem Cross Inn, New Tradition Co. and Ledger are offsite programs with their own packages and fees.

A wreath kit to make at home

The posted DIY kit includes a 10-inch wreath base, fresh mixed winter greens, pinecones, dogwood tips, paddle wire and a filmed tutorial. A selected 1½-yard velvet ribbon is optional. You need a computer for the tutorial and good garden shears or pruners; ordinary scissors will not cut the woody stems.

The listing shows a starting $50 price tied to an early-bird promotion through December 1. Confirm whether that promotion and amount have been renewed before ordering; it is not an unqualified permanent price. Pickup or shipping can be chosen, with the posted shipping schedule starting December 1. The farm discourages shipping these fresh materials into hot, dry climates.

Wreath workshops at partner venues

The published workshops below take place at the named partner venues. Each ticket includes a wreath base, greens, tools and instruction; bring your own bow, with personal embellishments or additional foraged greens, berries and branches optional. Confirm the announced event date and remaining places before purchasing a ticket.

At Salem Cross Inn, dinner includes chicken pot pie with a buttermilk biscuit, harvest squash, whipped potato, a seasonal dessert and tea or coffee. Your own party of up to six guests is seated together before the wreath session. Alcohol is available to buy separately. The Oakholm offer also mentions early tree shopping during that venue’s Christmas festivities; tree purchases are separate from the wreath ticket.

Ledger’s three-course meal starts with fried Brussels sprouts, followed by a choice of mushroom campanelle with spinach, leeks and parmesan cream or wood-grilled half chicken with mashed potato and root vegetables, then a holiday dessert bar. Vegetarian or gluten-free alternatives can be requested, including a gluten-free bisque; note allergies when purchasing and discuss the actual accommodation. Soda, coffee and other nonalcoholic drinks, meals tax and staff gratuity are included. Alcohol and craft cocktails cost extra. Smaller parties may share a table, and the organizer emails before the event to collect main-course choices.
