Choose your Christmas tree.
Arrowhead Acres grows balsam, Fraser and concolor fir across its tree fields. All trees are posted at $90 plus tax. You can cut your own or ask staff to cut, and tree cutting, transport from the fields, shaking, drilling and netting are provided without an additional charge.
The crew uses claim-check numbers to match the tree through processing and carries it to your vehicle. Loading is included, but customers must secure their own tree: staff do not tie the load down. Twine and step stools are provided free. Drilling is for compatible Easy-On/Easy-Off stands; the separately sold $50 stand is rated for a tree up to 10 feet.

The farm visit.
The selling day
Published hours are Friday–Sunday, 10am–4pm, with field entry by 3:30pm to leave daylight for choosing. The operator’s opening date and weekday do not agree. Its separately published selling range is November 27–December 19, so confirm the opening and actual selling dates before travelling. December 4 and 11 have reduced staffing and slower service. Pretagging is no longer offered.
Warm up and look around
The welcome center has heated restrooms and a snack bar selling popcorn, chips, cookies and drinks. Photo settings include stuffed toys, a decorated fireplace and a large Christmas tree. Animal and poultry displays are separate from the cutting and processing route.
Dogs and practical arrangements
Leashed dogs are welcome, with cleanup required. Keep dogs away from animal and poultry displays, and put waste in the barrels at the banquet hall rather than in the fields. The visitor entrance is 84 Aldrich Street; 92 Aldrich Street is the mailing address.
Published tree and handling offers
Keep the tree price and optional purchases separate when planning the total.
| Selection or service | Published price | Conditions |
|---|---|---|

Separately booked group outings
Arrowhead Acres also hosts private family gatherings, birthdays, group picnics, corporate outings and celebrations. These are reserved venue events with their own charges and arrangements, separate from an ordinary Christmas-tree visit. The seasonal Rustic Barn Pavilion suits late-spring through early-fall gatherings; the heated and air-conditioned Banquet Hall is offered for all-season events.
The 2,000-square-foot, open-sided pavilion has layout-dependent capacity: the operator describes about 120 seated guests, about 125 with a dance floor, or about 200 without one. Agree the actual seating and recreation layout before reserving. The 7,000-square-foot hall has a stated maximum of 500 guests. Tables, chairs, event host or coordinator support, a PA/music system, parking attendants and restrooms are included; the pavilion rate also includes its recreation area. Listed games include shuffleboard, horseshoes, croquet, lawn bocce and badminton.
The published venue rates below come from the operator’s posted rate schedule. Minimums are minimum charges, rather than a statement that the group must bring that many guests. Ask for the applicable written quote, layout and event timing; catering, optional services and other listed charges are separate.
| Venue | Base hire | Additional time and scope |
|---|---|---|
| Rustic Barn Pavilion | $18 per person; $900 minimum | Four hours; recreation area included; additional hours $200 each |
| Banquet Hall | $21 per person; $2,625 minimum | Four hours; two bridge photo areas included; additional hours $500 each |
A reserved campfire gathering
Two campfire amphitheaters are advertised, each seating more than 100 people. One has a raised stage for a group leader, ceremony or service. A campfire in either the Pine Grove or Rustic Barn area is listed at $250 per hour, including the fire, marshmallows, long-handled safety forks and an attendant to light, tend and extinguish it.
The campfire is a separately arranged event option. It is not included in the pavilion or hall’s base price or in a Christmas-tree purchase; agree the site, duration and availability with the venue when planning the group outing.
Catering or a self-catered event
Choose a professional full-service caterer that is licensed and insured, either from the venue’s recommendations or one you select. The venue’s published rules require the signed catering rules, a catering-license copy, proof of current workers’ compensation and liability insurance, and the Uxbridge Board of Health registration paperwork before arrival. Its planning instructions call for at least two weeks for the Board of Health paperwork, whose office is listed as closed Friday–Sunday. Events open to the public have an additional one-day food-permit requirement in the attached registration instructions.
Arrowhead provides preparation areas, work tables, handwashing sinks, a banquet-hall mop sink and 20-amp, 120-volt outlets. The caterer or renter supplies table coverings; cooking equipment, dishwashing facilities, linens, china, cutlery and glassware are not provided. Caterers must leave the preparation area clean and remove all food-related waste. Trash bags can be supplied, but food waste left behind incurs a published charge of $200 or more. Vehicles must not enter the banquet catering area or open its overhead doors; keep hall doors closed and grill smoke outside.
If the organizer or family prepares the food, or food is supplied without a full-service licensed and insured caterer, the separate Pot Luck option is required. It costs $2 per person with a $200 minimum. The renter puts trash into the venue’s barrels and Arrowhead disposes of it; the organizer must sign the food-service waiver accepting responsibility for food-related issues and handling accidents.
| Arrangement | Published charge | Essential conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Pot Luck / food without a full-service caterer | $2 per person; $200 minimum | Required for this food arrangement; renter uses venue barrels; organizer signs food-service waiver |
| Caterer leaves food-related waste behind | $200 or more | Full-service caterer must otherwise remove that waste and leave the preparation area clean |
Alcohol service and pavilion heaters
When alcohol will be served, the venue charges a $50 liquor-license fee and requires the Bartending Service of New England to provide and serve it. Guests must not bring other alcohol onto the property; the venue warns that failure to follow its alcohol rules can result in removal from the premises. Bartending charges are a separate arrangement, not covered by the $50 venue fee.
Up to four propane heaters are listed for pavilion events at $100 per heater per event. Choose the number and confirm availability when arranging the outing; the published fee is for each heater, not all four together.
| Item | Published charge | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Liquor-license fee | $50 | Applies if alcohol is served; required bartender is arranged separately |
| Propane heater | $100 per heater, per event | Four listed as available; confirm the required number and availability |
Event deposits, final details and arrival
The preliminary event form asks for the final guest count, remaining balance and setup instructions one week before the event. Deposits are non-refundable. The published deposit list distinguishes pavilion, chapel-and-bridges and chapel/hall reservations; confirm the deposit that applies to your chosen combination.
The venue asks for the appropriate preliminary agreement to be completed and returned by post, email or fax. Published deposit methods are personal check or a credit/debit-card payment by telephone. These are event-booking arrangements, separate from the tree-selling program. Monday–Thursday hall events for smaller groups are advertised with lower minimums, but no numeric weekday minimum is given.
The rate list allows four hours for hall hire, while the preliminary form lists either 11am–4pm or 7pm–11pm and offers other times by arrangement. Confirm the daytime duration and any extra-hour charge before reserving. Use 84 Aldrich Street on Route 98 for the event entrance; 92 Aldrich Street is the mailing address.
| Reservation label | Deposit | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Pavilion | $300 | Non-refundable |
| Chapel and bridges | $300 | Non-refundable |
| Chapel/hall | $800 | Non-refundable; two payments optional; confirm the chosen reservation’s scope |
