Tree season: Precuts daily after Thanksgiving; choose-and-cut on Black Friday and weekends, weather dependent
General farm store 9am–5pm daily August–December; confirm tree activity hours
Choose your Christmas tree.
Apex Orchards advertises precut Christmas trees daily after Thanksgiving. Its homepage holiday poster also lists choose-and-cut tree days on Black Friday and Saturdays and Sundays, weather dependent. Confirm field opening, hours and stock before travelling; the poster gives no tree-field clock hours or prices. A separately dated orchard interview describes wagon trips and trees around 7–15 feet, but does not establish a current ride package. The orchard’s fruit-picking wagon rules are separate from Christmas-tree admission.
The farm store offers fruit, cider, maple products, preserves, local foods and other seasonal goods; hot mini cider donuts are advertised on weekends. Apple and peach picking, with their own bag or container requirements, are separate seasons and purchases.
The farm visit.
Check the tree check-in and calendar
The CISA profile identifies the farm store at 225 Peckville Road and the December–April winter warehouse at 154 Peckville Road. Confirm which entrance is handling tree sales before travelling. Its “weekends starting November 30” line conflicts with its stated year and should not be used as a firm opening date. The operator’s weather-dependent Black Friday and weekend poster supports the selling pattern without resolving that profile’s date conflict.
The store’s general August–December hours are daily 9am–5pm, with seasonal changes possible. These are store hours, not verified tree-field or wagon hours. Use the store/office number for current tree arrangements; 413-625-9630 is a fax number, not a visitor voice line.
Access and animals
The operator describes the farm store, patio and bathrooms as wheelchair accessible. Contact the store about access to orchard picking, whose ground and routes have different conditions. Animals are not permitted in the farm store, designated picking areas or orchard.
Autumn apple picking
Apple picking generally runs August–October, 10am–4pm, with varieties and supply changing through the season. Call on the day for current availability, particularly late in the picking season. A purchased picking bag is required for entry and covers two adults plus children; personal containers are not allowed. The posted prices are$25 for a peck or$40 for a half bushel.
A bag purchase also includes the tractor-drawn trailer ride when operating. Rides run weekends 10am–4pm during picking season, weather permitting. Children need adult supervision; wear comfortable shoes, follow marked ripe rows and leave before closing. These fruit-picking admission and ride arrangements are separate from the Christmas-tree program.
The farm store and view
The store offers local maple syrup, honey, yogurt, soaps, ice cream, cider and seasonal produce. The patio looks toward three states, with a coin-operated viewfinder; weekend mini cider donuts are listed by the agriculture profile. Check the day’s shop and food availability when combining purchases with tree shopping.
