Choose a fresh-cut fir
Five published varieties span 3–13ft, with size and price on each tag. Confirm the renewed range before visiting.
Preparation is included
Staff gives the tree a fresh base cut, wraps it and secures it to your vehicle at no additional charge.
Finish the decorations
Browse real greenery, ornaments and holiday plants, with separate digital gifts and a faux-tree collection if those suit your plans.
Urban Garden's fresh-cut lot lists trees from three to thirteen feet, individually tagged with size and price. The five published varieties are Fraser, Noble, Balsam and Nordmann fir, plus Colorado-grown Concolor in an open Charlie Brown style. Fraser offers a narrower outline with sturdy branches; Noble's spaced branching is useful for ornaments, while Balsam brings a traditional scent and Concolor leaves room for larger decorations.
Trees arrive from wholesalers shortly before opening and stay protected from sun until they are displayed. After you choose, staff makes another fresh cut, wraps the tree and secures it to your vehicle at no additional fee. Cinco stands, preservative and watering funnels are available for the setup at home.
Urban Garden recommends putting the fresh-cut base into water within thirty minutes. If you will not display the tree straight away, keep it cool and shaded with its trunk in a bucket of water. Keep the base covered in the stand and check it daily after decorating.
Published varieties
- Fraser fir
- Noble fir
- Balsam fir
- Nordmann fir
- Colorado Concolor fir
Which variety suits your decorations?
General tree guidance; the farm’s selection, sizes and services are described above.
- Fraser fir
- Upward branches and good needle retention; firmer branches can suit heavier ornaments.
- Balsam fir
- A notably fragrant choice with soft needles.
- Concolor fir
- Longer, silver-blue needles with a citrus scent when crushed.

Browse the holiday shop
The shop carries hand-tied real garland by the foot, real and faux wreaths, ornaments and holiday décor. Its published selection includes hundreds of ornaments, locally grown poinsettias, waxed amaryllis made in-house, paperwhite bulbs and small living trees. A wreath hanger, topper or tree skirt can finish a tree purchase without another stop.
The previously published décor-shopping programme ran November 15–27, 10am–3pm, then November 29–December 23, 10am–6pm. Those are shop arrangements, not a promise of the tree lot's renewed hours. Check the seasonal updates before choosing your visit.
A separately published holiday programme has included free hot chocolate and a Santa visit on the second weekend. Check Urban Garden’s renewed holiday announcements before planning around those features; they do not set the tree lot’s daily hours.

Parking, payment and visit rules
The garden center is on the south side of Baseline Road on North 96th Street. Use its expanded parking lot first. If it is full, the operator allows parking along the dead-end stretch of 96th Street, leaving the space between Baseline and the entrance clear and respecting neighboring driveways.
Cash is preferred, with major credit cards including American Express and Apple Pay accepted. The operator does not allow pets or emotional-support animals indoors or outside and separately states that licensed therapy dogs are allowed. Check with the team about any specific access arrangement you need.
Families may take personal photographs with a phone or their own camera; professional family sessions are not allowed during ordinary shopping. A private weekday session before opening must be arranged directly, rather than assumed to be part of a tree purchase.

An emailed gift for another visit
Digital gift cards are listed at $25, $50, $75, $100, $150 and $200. Add your To/From message and the recipient’s name and email when ordering, or have the card sent to your own email to give yourself. At the physical store, the recipient can print the email or show it at checkout.
The gift cards do not expire and cannot be redeemed for cash. The shop’s posted return information also says gift cards cannot be returned or refunded. A gift card is a stored purchase value, rather than a reservation for a particular tree or price.
Compare the separate faux-tree collection
The holiday shop also lists artificial trees for households looking for a reusable indoor display. Compare both height and base width: the 7.5ft Slim Blue Spruce has a 46in footprint, while the shorter 5.5ft Blue Spruce spreads to 62in. The Snowy Nordic and Rocky Mountain choices use dimmable warm-white lights with replaceable branch light strands; the 7.5ft Blue Spruce offers clear or multicolored lights selected by a foot pedal.
These are the separately published faux-tree catalogue prices, with renewed prices and stock to be confirmed. The 9ft Snowy Nordic Fir is marked out of stock. Although the catalogue advertises free delivery, its grid and some product labels say in-store only, so confirm the actual fulfilment arrangement for the item you want. That wording does not establish free delivery for a real Christmas tree.
The posted shipped-item return terms require a return within 30 days of purchase or before December 24, whichever comes first. Keep the original invoice, all packaging, accessories, manuals and parts, and the item new, unused and undamaged; the buyer pays return shipping and original shipping is not refunded. Check the arrangement directly when choosing a product.
