Compare the $12-per-foot trees

The published rate covers 6–8ft Balsam and Blue Spruce, and 6–10ft Douglas fir. Individual height and selection matter.

Ask about a tall fir

The 12ft Fraser and roughly 15ft Concolor choices need a separate quote and stock confirmation.

Arrange wreaths or delivery

On-farm wreaths start at $35; custom sizes can be discussed. Delivery within 10 miles requires a destination quote, weather and supply permitting.

Osborn's Christmas sale offers a useful price comparison before you arrive: six-to-eight-foot Balsam fir and Blue Spruce and six-to-ten-foot Douglas fir are $12 per foot. A twelve-foot Fraser fir and a roughly fifteen-foot Concolor, or White fir, are separately quoted choices for a much taller room.

Compare the actual branch spacing as well as the height. The operator describes Fraser as a full tree with strong upward branches and Concolor as a naturally shaped, fragrant option. With a dense Douglas fir, check that there is room between the branches for your ornaments before choosing.

Wreaths and locally arranged delivery

Wreaths are made on the farm, starting at $35. The published range includes twelve-to-fourteen-inch wreaths and larger pieces, with custom sizes available to discuss. That is a useful separate purchase if you want greenery for a doorway as well as the tree.

Delivery can be arranged within ten miles, with the price supplied on request. Weather and remaining tree supply affect the service and selling dates, so settle the tree, destination and delivery arrangement with the farm before planning around it.

Plan for the Christmas sale

The tree sale is a limited-weekend event, with an explicit November 27 opening and two later December weekends. Its 10am–6pm tree-selling hours are separate from the autumn pumpkin programme.

Use the Christmas page for the renewed schedule and the South Boise Avenue address for arrival. Pumpkin hayrides, barrel trains, petting-zoo admission and weekend vendors are described for the fall programme; they are not promised Christmas-tree activities.

Separately reserved photography access

Professional photographers can arrange the farm as a backdrop for $25 per hour, with full-hour bookings only. A confirmed reservation is required before arrival. Email osbornfarm1861@gmail.com with the desired date, start time, number of hours and your contact details, then wait for the farm to confirm the arrangement.

Brand and professional location shoots are a separate daily-rate enquiry. Ask for the quote and available date directly; this is location access, not a photographer supplied with a tree purchase. A photography reservation does not set the public Christmas-tree selling hours.

A farm carried through generations

The Osborn family’s land along the Big Thompson River is recognized as a Colorado Centennial Farm. Several generations have kept the farm in use, with today’s family opening it for autumn pumpkins and the separate Christmas-tree sale. Its history gives the visit a local setting without turning the fall rides or animal programme into Christmas attractions.
