Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
For the holidays, Nick’s switches from its fall market and festival season to a fresh-cut Christmas-tree selection. The operator also highlights hand-tied wreaths and garland, so you can bring home greenery as well as the main tree.
The Christmas-tree page names Noble, Fraser, Douglas, Balsam, Concolor, Canaan and Nordmann firs, plus White pine, and advertises both fresh and flocked trees. This is a published range, rather than a guarantee that every species, height or finish is available on a particular day; prices and numeric heights need confirmation.
Noble’s stiffer boughs suit heavier ornaments, while Douglas has a dense, soft-needled shape that works with lights and lighter decorations. Fraser’s branches turn upward over blue-green needles; Balsam emphasises fragrance, and Concolor offers its own foliage colour and aroma. Compare the actual tree’s shape and room height before deciding.
Published varieties

Which variety suits your decorations?
General tree guidance; the farm’s selection, sizes and services are described above.
- Fraser fir

- Canaan fir
- Dark green needles with white undersides and firmer branches for decorations.
- Douglas fir
- Soft needles and more flexible branches, suited to lighter ornaments.
- White pine
- Long, soft needles and flexible branches; choose lighter decorations.

Trees, fresh greenery and blooming plants
Nick’s holiday offering brings together fresh-cut trees, hand-tied wreaths, garland and seasonal blooming plants. The winter setting gives the tree visit a festive shop atmosphere, with several ways to add holiday greenery to the home.
Fresh hand-tied wreath choices include Fraser and Douglas fir. Loose seasonal greenery includes Douglas, Princess pine, Noble and Fraser, alongside the hand-tied garland. That gives you separate options for a door, a longer run of greenery or a small arrangement; ask about the actual sizes, lengths and prices.
| Offering | What to know |
|---|---|
| Tree shopping | Fresh-cut and flocked trees; eight advertised species, with current heights and prices to confirm |
| Fresh greenery | Fraser/Douglas wreaths, hand-tied garland and loose fir/pine greenery |
| Holiday plants | Seasonal blooming plants |
Santa and the holiday food drive
Nick’s advertises a Santa visit during its holiday food drive. Check the renewed program for the date, times and donation arrangements before planning photographs or making Santa the focus of your trip.
An older holiday pop-up announcement lists a December 10 market from 11am to 2pm, with local food, drink and craft vendors. It does not establish a renewed date for the coming holiday visit. Check the current events programme for Santa, market traders and any donation or photo arrangements before making one of them the reason for your trip.
A gift the recipient can choose
Nick’s sells gift certificates in any denomination and describes phone or in-person purchases, with a paper certificate mailed to you or directly to the recipient with a personal message. The website also links to a Clover e-gift option; check that option’s current availability rather than assuming every gift-card format uses the same purchase channel.
| Format | Arrangement |
|---|---|
| Gift certificate | Choose the denomination |
| E-gift card | Website links to a Clover e-gift option; check current availability |
| Mailed certificate | Send to you or the recipient with a personal message |
Keep the seasonal extras separate
The décor shop includes pottery, statuary, benches, fountains and seasonal gifts. Its outdoor-art catalogues are a way to discuss a special order, rather than a list of everything stocked: orders for those unstocked catalogue items are described for spring through summer and can take four to five weeks.
The garden café is advertised from mid-April through October on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so it should not be counted on as a winter lunch stop. The fall maze, rides and other festival activities likewise belong to the autumn programme; check the actual Christmas events separately.
