Choose a natural outline
The open, individual Charlie Brown style comes from the operator’s native-tree and forest-work sourcing. Compare the actual branching and shape at the lot.
Arrange a large tree
Price depends on species, shape, size and fullness. For 13ft and taller, ask for a quote and confirm the exact selection rather than relying on a large historical example.
Colorado Native specializes in natural, individual trees with the open branching often called a Charlie Brown style. The operator salvages trees and useful tops or debris from thinning and logging work with land managers, bringing those forest products to a retail lot. Buying here is a tree-lot visit, not permission to cut a tree on public land.
Each tree's species, shape, height and fullness affect its price. Compare the actual outline if you like room between ornaments or a less uniform silhouette. For a very large tree, the operator asks shoppers to request a quote for sizes thirteen feet and up, with examples extending to forty feet; arrange the size you need rather than assuming every large example is waiting at this lot.
Find the Lookout Road branch
The Boulder-area lot is at Church of the Lookout on Lookout Road in Gunbarrel. Its official street address uses Longmont in the postal line; use the actual church and road address when navigating. The separate Gunnison lot is another visitor location, so its footer address and hours should not replace this branch's details.
The published Lookout schedule has longer Friday and Saturday hours than the general header on the operator website. Check renewed seasonal arrangements before a special trip, particularly if you need a particular tree size.
Smaller gifts and natural-tree choices
Handmade reindeer and snowmen are linked from the operator's holiday information. U.S. veterans are invited to ask about a discount; the operator does not publish a fixed percentage, so discuss eligibility and the actual purchase.
For a small mailed gift, the operator has a separate Douglas fir and Lodgepole pine ordering page. Its heading describes 2–3ft trees, while the main tree page says shipped trees are 18–24in long. Confirm the actual size, price and shipping arrangement directly before ordering; the separate mail-order offer does not set the sizes available at Lookout Road.
