Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
Creek Side’s named best-selling Christmas trees are Noble, Fraser, Nordmann and Concolor firs. Noble’s firm branches work for heavier ornaments, Fraser has gently upturned branches and a pleasant scent, and Nordmann offers thicker symmetrical branches and a darker-green look. Concolor brings a different foliage color and natural aroma.
The operator’s care guide says the team provides a fresh cut by taking an inch off the bottom of the trunk before setting the tree in water. At home, keep the stand filled and the trunk base below the water level; the guide emphasizes daily water rather than letting the base dry out.

Which variety suits your decorations?
General tree guidance; the farm’s selection, sizes and services are described above.
- Fraser fir
- Upward branches and good needle retention; firmer branches can suit heavier ornaments.
- Concolor fir
- Longer, silver-blue needles with a citrus scent when crushed.

The Glasshouse and holiday boutique
Creek Side’s holiday shop and Glasshouse gather Christmas trees, wreaths, greens, garland and blooming plants in one seasonal visit. Poinsettias come in several colors, with Christmas cactus and amaryllis among the other holiday choices.
Hand-decorated wreaths and table centerpieces are designed onsite. Browse the gift shop and boutique for holiday décor and gifts, or ask the Green Team for help matching the greenery to the display you have in mind.

Holiday kickoff demonstrations
The November 28 Small Business Saturday kickoff runs 9am–5pm, with free live demonstrations during the day. A 10am winter porch-pot session shows how fresh evergreens, pinecones, bows and extras fit into a soil-filled pot. At 11am the holiday-plant talk covers poinsettias and other blooming plants; the 1pm demonstration turns clipped greenery and add-ons into a tabletop centerpiece.
These are demonstrations, rather than a promise of a free finished arrangement or included take-home supplies. Choose the session that fits your project and check any changes before setting out.

|---|---|
| 10am | Winter porch pots |
| 11am | Poinsettia and holiday-plant care |

Holiday Magic and a hand-tied wreath
Holiday Magic is December 4 from 5pm to 7pm. The programme includes Santa and letters to Santa, snacks and drinks, campfire marshmallow roasting and cocoa, antler-wearing donkeys and a gingerbread-house photo scene. The donkeys are the festive “rein-donks”, rather than reindeer. Check participation terms and refreshment charges; an admission price or blanket included-food offer is not specified.
Wreath-making workshops are separately scheduled on December 5 and 12, with a 10am or 1pm session each day, at $49 per person. Start with a steel wreath ring, tie fresh boughs and add natural elements. Use the class signup with your name, phone, email and chosen day/time, and confirm places and any final material or payment arrangements before attending.

An earlier evening for the gift shop
The Gift Shop Open House has a new November 12 date, from 3pm to 7pm. Browse holiday candles, towels, table decorations and gifts with wine and snacks, a bring-a-friend gift and a drawing. Ask about any purchase or participation conditions rather than assuming everything is included.
The new Christmas for the Garden area brings together sunhats, bird feeders, garden flags, birdbaths, fountains and chimes. In the Indoor Living shop, look for ornaments, yard art, candles and hostess gifts alongside the fresh greenery and flowering plants.
Gift cards and Creek Side Cash
Gift cards are available in any denomination in store or by phone, with no expiry and use across all departments throughout the year. Phone orders can be paid by credit card and mailed to the recipient.
Creek Side Cash is earned from May purchases at a 5% rebate and can be redeemed dollar for dollar from July through December, expressly including a Christmas tree. It cannot buy sale items or gift certificates and does not carry into the next year. This is a chance to use eligible rewards already earned, not a promise that a Christmas purchase earns the May rebate.
Care for the greenery afterward
Creek Side’s tree-care guide recommends keeping the cut trunk submerged, checking the water each day and placing the tree away from heating ducts and other heat sources. Its staff fresh-cut service and the named fir choices come from that earlier guide, rather than a guarantee of every variety being in stock.
For wreaths and greenery, the guide suggests cool, dark storage if you are not displaying them immediately, regular misting and a position away from direct sun and heat. If bringing an outdoor wreath inside for a celebration, wait until shortly before the event and return it outside afterward. Indoor warmth can shorten its useful display; no fixed lifespan is guaranteed.
